Description
Patchwork Beast is an artistic story-driven game about environmental destruction due to industrialization. Play as Ramis, an intrepid traveler journeying from home who gets sidetracked by a forest spirit, on his quest to cure an enchanted forest of a mysterious affliction and save Mossglen. A seemingly sentient beast made of haphazardly welded parts has awakened and is rotting the forest from the inside out with metallic Corrosion. You must find a way to stop the beast before it destroys the forest and everything in it.
History
Patchwork Beast traces its origins back to an animated film project envisioned by Demi during her high school years. The intriguing concept revolved around a brother-sister duo who, on a forest adventure, stumble upon a malignant metallic force. Aided by a forest elf, they labor to rejuvenate the tarnished landscape, bringing it back to life with nature's touch. Although the film remained unfinished, its poignant narrative found a new medium when Demi attended a game design class at the University of Texas. Here, she recognized the potential to transform her cinematic idea into an immersive gaming experience. This rebirth of Demi's vision marks the genesis of what is now Patchwork Beast.
